Jim Rogers Predicts the Real Estate Bubble in 2003

Here is a legacy video of Jim Rogers that appeared on Dutch TV in 2003. He shows off the home in which he lives. It gets cold in New York in the winter, so he often sits by the fire to read.

People in America know that something is wrong. They know that something is wrong with the economy, but they don’t know why. The major problem is the national debt, the likes of which the world has never seen. It is simply going to be a fact of life for the rest of our lives. One reason for this is that people have been taking equity out of their home. We just came out of a stock market bubble, and now we are approaching a real estate bubble. People are going to find out that they aren’t as rich as they thought they were.
